3 Stars Fun learning with a liberal slant
My kids learned a great deal about the presidents with this book. It has activities that kept them interested. However, as we progressed through the book we noticed that it was written in a way that very much so painted a rosy picture of the Democrats while trying to make most of the Republicans look like incompetent morons. Some of the things that it said about George W Bush highly offended my 11 year old son. Not a total waste of money-they did learn things about the presidents. They just began to question if all the information was accurate.
5 Stars Fascinating and interesting introduction to the presidents for kids!
I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she couldn’t put it down. It it filled with interesting facts about each of the presidents - one page for each in an easy to read format. She kept telling me something she had learned about them. It may not get into the deep meaning of each presidency but it peaked her interest to learn more. She also is now familiar with the names and order of them. I plan to get her the Everything Book about the First Ladies as I’m sure that will be just as fascinating to her.
5 Stars Impressed with the quality and the substance of this book
I purchased EVERYTHING KIDS’ PRESIDENTS BOOK: PUZZLES, GAMES AND TRIVIA-FOR HOURS OF PRESIDENTIAL FUN for my seven-year-old granddaughter’s birthday. She and her dad have been excited about learning about the presidents. The only problem seems to be that whenever one is looking for the book, the other is reading it. Could it be that I should have purchased the same book for each? I plan to buy other titles in the series.
5 Stars Perfect book for kids and fun for adults
I bought this for my son’s 9th birthday, he absolutely loves facts, and was really into the states and presidents so I bought both The state and President books, It had some fun facts in it that he really got a kick out of. And I enjoyed reading about some of those “unknown” presidents.

1 Star NEVER GOT THIS ORDER I BAUGHT
I WISH I COULD TELL YOU HOW GREAT THE BOOK WAS BUT I NEVER RECIEVED IT EVEN THOUGH I WAS CHARGED THE $ FOR IT@!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 Stars There are better books
I use my Gymboree Play book more often than this one, which may be because it doesn’t have any pictures. I wasn’t inspired by any of the activities.
5 Stars loved this book
This book was very helpful to me. The games are simple and promote interaction, anyone can do them.
2 Stars Same old…
I bought this book as an infant caregiver and was disappointed to see that it was all the things I’m already doing with my babies…there were a few different ideas, but overall, not worth it.
5 Stars Great for new parents
This book was bought due to my concern with, “What do I do with this baby, now that I’ve got her home?” I’ve taught fifth graders for many years, but didn’t quite know how to begin to “educate” my baby. This book gave me some very quick, easy and simple ideas of games to play to help my child learn. It is also broke down into ages (ie. 0-3 months, 12-18 months, etc.) I definately recommend this book to parents that want to begin the learning process in a fun manner early on.

5 Stars Great for Kids
I’ve been subscribed to Sports Illustrated for a while now, and although this month’s issue wasn’t really great, almost all of the other ones were great.
What’s in every issue:
Each and every issue comes with a 2-sided mini poster that’s a little bigger than a piece of paper. The first few pages includes some extremely detailed and great sports pictures. (Trust me, you’ll know what I mean if you buy one.) Then, it’s followed by a page on polls conducted by Sports Illustrated in the past month. Then, it’s followed by a page of 9 sports cards, that each include a picture of the player on the front and on the back (usually the front pic is the player in action like after hitting a home run, or making a great catch in football, or taking a shot in basketball, etc, and on the back, the picture is a small portrait of the player), and on the back of the card, it tells you what the player’s accomplishments are, what his/her stats, awards received, height, weight, place of birth, date of birth, position he/she plays, and other miscellaneous stats. There is also a trivial question that’s fun to challenge yourself with.
Followed by that is a Q&A with a star on a sport, and the next page would be new sports gear with interesting sports numbers like birthdays of players. Then, it’s followed by a few hilarious photos with hilarious captions that will make even the most serious adult laugh (seriously, my teacher cracked up when he saw one of them). The next page would be a few tips from a star in the pros like how to steal a base in baseball, how to shoot 3-pointers in basketball, you get the picture… Very interesting to flip through even for an adult.
Even though this review is written by a kid, I feel that even if you are an adult, you should try it too. If you are buying it for a kid, especially for a boy between the ages of 7-14, they’ll love it too. I’ll guarantee that. This magazine is really a 5-star magazine.
5 Stars Great Price!!
Great price and value!! Subscription is great for boys especially who are interested in any sports. Lots of information and great for adults too.
4 Stars Sports Illustrated for Kids - great magazine
I purchased this magazine for my grandson age 8 last year and he liked it so much I am renewing it for him this year. He is a real sports nut and it is easy to read and enjoy.
1 Star magazine
We haven’t received yet. I think 1 month should be a time limit on getting an item like this.
5 Stars Don’t receive 1st issue for a few more weeks
I am assuming that everything will be fine when the magazine starts arriving at my grandson’s house. Several years ago we ordered it for our son and that was successful so now we’re waiting for Shea to receive the magazine as a Christmas present from us (Grandpa and Grandma).
